What is Acetylene (C2H2) ? 

Acetylene (dissolved Acetylene) is the hottest and most efficient of all the fuel gases

It is a hydrocarbon and the simplest alkyne. This colorless gas (lower hydrocarbons are generally gaseous in nature) is widely used as a fuel and a chemical building block

Uses of Acetylene (C2H2)  

The fabrication industry uses acetylene for many major applications.  It is the only fuel gas that can be used for welding. It is also ideal for brazing, cutting, flame gouging, spot heating, hardening, texturing, cleaning, and thermal spraying many materials.

Is Acetylene (C2H2) Dangerous ?  

Acetylene is an extremely flammable gas and can form an explosive atmosphere in the presence of air or oxygen. It has a Lower Explosive Limit ( LEL ) of 2.3%
