The Riken Keiki GX-3R 4 Gas Confined Space Gas Monitor measures a tiny 58(w) x 65(H)x 26(D)mm and weighs only 100g making it a revolution in compact design. The GX-3R is ideal for use in confined spaces as its size means it does not interfere with work even if it is attached in the breathing zone.
The breathing zone is within a 25cm radius of the worker's nose and mouth. HSE G409 COSHH General Guidance advises that “‘Personal sampling’ is taking an air sample near the worker’s breathing zone to measure the amounts of airborne substances inhaled for a stated task”

Long battery mode allows the monitor to be used continuously for up to 40 hours before recharging. IP66/68 compliance as well as a 3-year sensor warranty allows the GX-3R to be used with confidence.
The GX-3R has 3 pre-set alarm settings per gas and an over alarm which allows the alarms to be set at EH40 workplace exposure limits plus an additional alarm for a higher detection range.
An internal data logger allows 3600 event logs and 300 hours which can be read out using an IrDA link.
An Operating temperature range of -40- +60 degrees C (intermittent) -20- +50 Degrees C (continuous) allow the GX-3R to be used in many different environments and applications.
A loud 95dB alarms buzzer is also included.
The GX-3R uses 3 compact sensors including a brand new Electro-chemical Oxygen Sensor. The GX-3R Confined Space Monitor will detect, Combustibles, Hydrogen Sulphide, Oxygen as well as Carbon Monoxide. A new 3-year sensor warranty is now standard.
An optional multi-charger is available. Operators can charge multiple devices together saving considerable time.
